Safe Ground is an educational charity using drama techniques to engage and motivate prisoners to participate in education and family life. Our courses are delivered in 24 prisons nationwide; in the next few years we want to ensure the widest possible awareness and uptake of our programmes.

Our arts based programmes and practice are informed by rigorous research and evaluation. We are looking to appoint Freelance facilitators who are inspired by our methodology and who have the flair and enthusiasm to deliver our programmes to the highest standard. Whilst we try to place our facilitators in their local area, you should be prepared to travel and be able to be available for periods of up to 7 weeks at a time. In return we will offer you generous remuneration, support, supervision and the opportunity to develop your own skill set.
