Safe Ground is seeking an academic institution, think tank or research organisation to undertake an independent evaluation of Family Man, a family relationships programme bespoke for male prisoners.
Our 2012-2013 Family Man Evaluation will seek to demonstrate the programme’s long-term impact and cost-effectiveness to policy makers, funders, prisons and practitioners. The successful contractor will be expected to commence work on 5th March 2012. The date for the submission of the final report is to be 31st March 2013.
The evaluation will assess:
- Changes in students’ and adult family members’ perceptions of their family relationships and themselves
- Impact on students’ behaviour both in custody and the community
- The cost-effectiveness of the programme
