Get Involved
Whether you’re a Safe Ground graduate, a student, or want to gain experience with a charity working in criminal justice, we want to hear from you.
Job opportunities
We have no vacancies at the moment, but please keep an eye on our twitter page, @Safe_Ground for updates!
Safe Ground alumni
If you’re a serving or ex-prisoner, or a graduate of a Safe Ground programme or project, you can help support us as an ambassador, fundraiser, event facilitator or volunteer. It’s a great chance to put the skills you learnt on one of our courses to good use. Email info@safeground.org.uk for more information.
Become a volunteer
We offer a range of volunteering opportunities to students, Safe Ground graduates, or those interested in gaining experience in a charity within the criminal justice sector. We offer excellent opportunities for volunteers including training and regular supervision.
If you are interested, please email a CV and a cover letter to info@safeground.org.uk explaining why would like to work for Safe Ground.
For all volunteers, we do require two references, which can be from a professional setting, job or teacher. If this isn’t possible for you, we can accept references from another verifiable source, who can assure us of your reliability, commitment, and dedication.
Student Placements
Our volunteer student placement offer requires a recruitment process. We ask for a CV and cover letter, outlining areas of interest, why you want to work at Safe Ground, the details of your course and why it is relevant to the work at Safe Ground. We will ask you for two references, either from a school, college, university or employer.
If you require a placement for your University degree and Safe Ground sounds like the place for you, please contact us at info@safeground.org.uk.
